Stomach cancer occupies a leading position in oncological morbidity and mortality worldwide. Approximately 800,000 people die from stomach every year. In two-thirds of patients gastric is diagnosed at late stage, when radical treatment becomes impossible. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection considered as the main etiological factor for cancer. To stratify risk developing an assessment morphological changes mucosa using Operative Link Gastritis Assessment Atrophic (OLGA) system used. The stage gastritis plays key role determining individual’s H. eradication therapy effective method preventing However not all elimination can prevent development future. It extremely important to identify group with ex-helicobacter gastritis, who have high cancer, take timely preventive measures them. purpose this publication summarize systematize currently available data on pylori-associated including those after successful eradication.
